Case Study: Lead Generation Campaign for a UK Windows Installer

In spring 2021, a regional double glazing and windows installation company partnered with BCC Telemarketing to support a targeted lead generation campaign. The business specialised in replacement windows, doors and conservatories, serving homeowners across the Midlands and surrounding areas.

While the installer had built a solid reputation locally, they wanted to increase their pipeline of qualified homeowners actively considering window or door replacements. Their internal sales team relied heavily on inbound enquiries and referrals, which created unpredictable workloads and periods where survey appointments were limited.

The objective of the campaign was straightforward: generate consistent, qualified homeowner appointments for the company’s surveyors.

Campaign Launch

BCC launched the campaign in May 2021, using a targeted outbound approach designed to identify homeowners who were either considering upgrades or planning home improvements within the next 6 to 12 months.

Our agents contacted households within the installer’s service areas and introduced the company’s services, focusing on common homeowner motivations such as improving insulation, reducing energy costs and modernising property appearance.

During each call, BCC agents qualified prospects by confirming key details including property ownership, property type and whether the homeowner had previously considered replacing their windows or doors. When a genuine opportunity was identified, the conversation moved towards arranging a free home consultation with the installer’s survey team.

Appointments were scheduled directly into the company’s calendar, ensuring the sales team received confirmed and qualified survey bookings rather than cold leads.

Campaign Performance

Over the course of the campaign, which ran through summer 2021, BCC contacted several thousand households across the target regions. From these conversations, the team identified hundreds of homeowners actively interested in replacement windows or doors, with a significant number agreeing to book consultations.

Many of these homeowners had already been thinking about improving their properties but had not yet taken the step to contact an installer. The outbound campaign helped bring those projects forward by introducing the installer at the right time.

The company’s survey team reported that the majority of appointments booked through BCC were well qualified and genuinely interested in upgrading their windows, allowing sales representatives to focus on presenting solutions rather than qualifying basic interest.

Supporting Sales Consistency

By the end of 2021, the installer had achieved a far more consistent flow of survey appointments. Instead of relying purely on inbound enquiries, the business now had a structured outbound lead generation channel feeding new opportunities into the sales pipeline.

The campaign also helped the company expand awareness within its core service areas, introducing the brand to homeowners who may not have encountered it through traditional advertising.

For home improvement businesses such as window installers, a steady pipeline of qualified homeowner consultations is essential for maintaining installation schedules. Through targeted outbound engagement and structured appointment setting, BCC helped this installer turn conversations into genuine sales opportunities and measurable business growth.
