Case Study: Client Satisfaction and Retention Programme for a Professional Services Firm

In September 2025, BCC Telemarketing partnered with a UK professional services firm specialising in accountancy, tax advisory and business compliance services for small and medium-sized businesses. The firm had built a large client base over many years and wanted to better understand how clients felt about the service they were receiving.

While the firm regularly communicated with clients during tax deadlines and compliance periods, there had never been a structured programme designed to proactively gather feedback or identify potential issues before they affected client relationships. The leadership team wanted a clearer picture of client satisfaction and an opportunity to reconnect with clients outside of routine compliance work.

The objective was to launch a client satisfaction and retention programme, speaking directly with existing clients to gather feedback and strengthen long-term relationships.

Launching the Client Engagement Programme

BCC began the programme in October 2025, contacting clients across the firm’s portfolio to discuss their experience working with the company. Agents introduced themselves on behalf of the firm and explained that the purpose of the call was to ensure clients were satisfied with the support they were receiving.

During each conversation, clients were asked about their experience with communication, responsiveness and the clarity of advice they had received from the firm’s consultants. BCC agents also asked whether there were any additional services the client might require, such as business advisory support or tax planning assistance.

Identifying Opportunities and Concerns

The calls provided the firm with valuable insights into how clients viewed the relationship. Many clients expressed strong satisfaction with the services they were receiving, while others highlighted small areas where improvements could be made, such as clearer updates during busy reporting periods.

BCC compiled this feedback into structured reports, allowing the firm’s management team to identify trends and take action where necessary.

In several cases, the conversations also revealed opportunities to introduce clients to additional services that they had not previously considered.

Strengthening Long-Term Client Relationships

By December 2025, the programme had provided the firm with meaningful feedback from a large portion of its client base. More importantly, clients appreciated being contacted directly and given the opportunity to share their views.

The firm was able to address minor concerns before they developed into larger issues and identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with key clients.

For professional services firms, maintaining strong client relationships is essential for long-term success. Through structured client engagement and satisfaction calls, BCC helped this organisation gain valuable insights while reinforcing trust, communication and long-term client retention.
